Creamy curry chicken

Hey peeps!

I love food. Did you know that about me yet? Like I live for food. It's one thing that has always remained constant in my life. Always been there for me you know. So, as time went on and I started a family, my love of food made me start experimenting a lot in the kitchen and try dishes that are simple yet as delicious as if I was fine dining. Also I don't like to spend too much money on fancy ingredients. You will see in the recipe below that usually I have 8 ingredients or less. Once the list gets too long, it's too complicated for me!!!

Today I am going to walk you through how to make one of the simplest dishes I created. It takes less than 30mins to prepare and tastes delicious, so if you are on of those people that hates spending an insane amount of time in the kitchen, but loves gourmet food, this dish is for you!

You will need:

3 chicken breasts cut up into small cubes

1 tbsp curry paste of choice

1 tbsp curry powder

1/2 tbsp paprika

Salt & pepper to taste

1 cup cream

1 onion finely chopped

1 clove or garlic minced

Wash chicken and pat to dry. Add salt, pepper, curry powder, & paprika to a bowl with the chicken. Coat chicken well. Heat 1 tbsp butter until it melts. Fry chicken at medium heat until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.

For the sauce:

In same pan, fry onions. You may need to add a little more butter. Add 1 tbsp curry paste and garlic. Add 1 cup cream & stir well. Once bubbling, add the chicken. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10mins.

Serve with side of choice.

In this image I server with plain white rice, and garnished with parsley.

Hope you try this really simple recipe that is tasty and satisfying!
